Totally recommend for a weekend

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, including fantastic poached eggs on sourdough toast, combined with friendly hosts providing helpful local tips, made my stay enjoyable.

It was all perfect.

The setting is particularly good, near to the railway, central Lynton and Valley of the Rocks, domestic area. The breakfast with granola and the home made jams is enjoyable for what is offered.

Enjoyed our exceptionally clean and airy room with a balcony. Our location was incredible and stunning, right next to a railway station. Plus, we were right next to Lynton city centre.

The breakfast options were fantastic, especially the granola brulee. And the location is perfect for exploring the valley of the rocks and nearby areas, with easy access to local cafes and shops.

The shower gel shelf in my bathroom was impractically high and deep, made using it a hassle. The ensuite was a bit tight with some noise from the loo, but overall, it was well-kept and suited for a short stay.

What a great stay! The hosts were super friendly and shared awesome tips for hikes around the area. Our breakfast was made with fresh local ingredients, and honestly, it was spot on. One little thing though, parking was a bit limited, so get there early if you can!

Staying at Southcliffe B&B was a good experience. I loved the lovely, clean room with a comfy giant bed. Breakfast options were extensive and beautifully cooked to order. I tried the poached eggs and avocado on sourdough toast- delicious! Hosts Stuart and James were cute and shared great tips for exploring the area. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the cliff railway and vibrant restaurants like Number 10 for pasta. A bit of an inconvenience was navigating the small, steep parking space, but street parking is available nearby. An enjoyable stay with only minor hiccups.

The room wasvery comfy and tidy, providing every little necessity for a cozy retreat. Breakfast was well-cooked and offered a good selection that was perfect for starting my day of exploring. The hosts, Jane and Charlie, were extraordinarily friendly.

The parking situation was utterly ridiculous. I had to maneuver through an impossibly tight space and ended up parking blocks away. To make things worse, the shower was cramped, and the water kept fluctuating in temperature unpredictably.

the views are amazing from the balcony. i missed having conditioner in the bathroom.

The brekkie was just next level, proper made to order with all the lekker ingredients. The hosts are just the nicest people. They sat with us, helping us plan our hikes, and even gave us maps!

The parking situation was a bit tight with only a few spots available. Had a bit of a struggle to find a place after a long drive.

This place suits me perfectly! It offers excellent wi-fi, a tv, and great luggage storage. The staff helped me with directions to attractions during my first stay. I highly recommend trying the breakfast options.

This place was a reliable pick for a short layover in Lynton with value for money. The breakfast was freshly prepared with local ingredients, making mornings enjoyable. Arrive early to secure parking spots.
